GReddy Blow Off Valve BOV FV2
The GReddy BOV Type FV was a new generation of blow off valve. Now the Type FV2 offer more improvements. The unique "Floating Valve" design incorporates a revised adjustable dual spring system, while maintaining the advantages of the previous models' push valve structure and silicone diaphragm control. The improved design makes spring pre-load setting less dependent on the idle, while providing better response, increased valve travel, more air-flow and added resistance to premature valve lift under all conditions. Also maintained is a slimmer CNC outlet with discharge ports to draws surrounding air to amplify the blow-off sound, however this can be replaced with optional re-circulation adapters in various sizes. The BOV FV2 adopts the same mounting and outlet size and position as previous GReddy RZ and RS models, so retro-fitting onto existing applications is possible. All GReddy BOVs are compatible with standard GReddy Blow-off Valve flanges.
GReddy Blow Off Valve Type-FV (ideal for 100-430hp range)
Make: Universal
Size: 40mm
Includes: BOV, Gasket, Nuts & Bolts, Vacuum nipple, hose
This is a Trust GReddy FV Blow Off Valve (BOV/Dump Valve) Head Unit. This is only the blow off valve and does not include any attachments for installation, making it non-vehicle-specific. To install, you must have an adapter flange already modified on your vehicle to make this a bolt on blow off valve.
Product features
“GReddy BLOW OFF VALVE FV2” inherits the floating valve structure that was popular in the previous model, while improving the more sophisticated design, maintainability, and reliability.
A hand spinner that enables the preload adjustment of the spring without tools is adopted, and the direction of taking out the hose union of the top cover can also be adjusted 360 ° without tools.
The mounting flange and opening have the same dimensions as the GReddy blow-off valve TYPE-RS, RZ, and FV, and can be replaced from the conventional model.

The floating valve mechanism allows the valve to react quickly because there is no need to apply unnecessary preload to the spring.
The floating valve mechanism prevents unnecessary opening and closing of the valve.
By adopting a floating valve structure in which the diaphragm and valve operate independently, it is possible to achieve a valve response that exceeds that of the conventional model and a stable blow-off effect in the entire supercharging range.
The 360 ° adjustable top cover eliminates the need to disassemble the top cover by changing the orientation of the hose union, greatly improving work-ability compared to the previous model.
The easy-to-rotate fidget spinner makes it possible to adjust the preload within a range of about 5 rotations without the need for tools.
The dual valve spring, boost pressure from the surge tank, and support spring strongly press the valve to prevent relief during high supercharging.
The surge tank pressure becomes the maximum negative pressure, the diaphragm and dual spring are pulled up, and the valve is released. The valve pressed only by the support spring is pushed up by the residual pressure in the pipe, and the residual pressure is released instantly.
Even if the pressure inside the surge tank remains negative and the diaphragm is pulled up, the support spring closes the valve quickly when the residual pressure is released to prepare for the next accelerator ON. This will launch the boost quickly.
